Purpose of the company
AGICOA Urheberrechtsschutz GmbH was founded by GWFF and AGICOA Geneva in 1995 with the purpose to exercise the rights of use and remuneration claims which result from the Copyright Act for domestic and foreign film producers in their own right and/or on the basis of rights derived from the involved authors and other rightholders and for film exploiters and film distributors deriving rights from the same because of the wired or wireless retransmission of television programs and furthermore the distribution of the collected receipts to the rightholders.
